The church's present calamity is nowhere near that scale in terms of size and length of time to develop, but it is no less important to those of us caught in it. It has involved its own forms of invasion, warfare, fear, discouragement, confusion, scattering—and many, it seems, have emigrated into "foreign lands" with their captors. But as time goes on you start working the cube and it becomes more and more messed up, especially for those who do not know how to solve it. It seems to get more and more complicated. The object is to get the cube to look just like it looked at the beginning. God wants the church to look just like it .
